How to Multiply Any Two Digit Number By 11, in your head in seconds .

Real estate investors and business should know how to math in your head, fast, because it will help you with every part of your business.  This is part one of our series on “Mental Math Shortcuts for Real Estate Investors and Business Owners” and in this class we’ll talk about multiplying numbers by 11.  This is an easy and fun trick that will impress others and build your confidence.

How to multiply any two digit number by 11 in your head.

Class One: 

How to multiply any two digit number by 11?

“Spread love everywhere you go. let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”

Single digits?

5 = 55

7 = 77

8 = 88

Those are easy.

Double digits?

51 = 561

5 + 1 = 6

Now put the 6 in between the 5 and 1: 561

72 = 792

7 + 2 = 9

Put the 9 in between the 7 and 2: 792

63 = 693

6 + 3 = 9 

Put the 9 in between the 6 and 3.

Double digits with leftover?

74 = 7114 =  814

If the numbers added together 10 or more then add one to the number on the left.

85 = 

8 + 5 = 13

Turn the 8 into a 9 and then put the 3 in between the 9 and 5:

935

98 = 1078

38 = 418

96 = 1056

87 = 957

68 = 748
